Netflix's Sabrina the Teenage Witch series has found one of Sabrina's magical aunts.

Lucy Davis, a breakout from 2017's Wonder Woman, will step into the role Aunt Hilda, Deadline reports. Played by Caroline Rhea on the ABC (and later WB) series, this version of the character is described as nurturing with a great sense of humor but can also have a mean streak. A powerful witch in her own right, she's just as good at brewing spite jars as she is at dishing out love potions for the hormonal teens at Baxter High.

The series -- a spin-off of the CW's hit series Riverdale -- will take on a darker tone and center around Sabrina's struggle with both her mortal and witch sides. As she tries to find a balance between her training as a sorceress and maintaining a normal life as a high school student, she'll also have to battle the forces of evil threatening our world. Davis joins Mad Men alum Kiernan Shipka, who is set to play Sabrina.

Chief creative officer of Archie Comics and Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will serve as writer and executive producer, and Arrowverse architect Greg Berlanti is also attached as an executive producer.

Davis' major credits include the U.K. version of The Office, Shaun of the Dead as Diane and Etta Candy in Wonder Woman.
