You can also catch up on all the latest Mega Buzz right here! Cameron Britton, as the articulate and insightful serial killer Ed Kemper, was the breakout star of Mindhunter's first season. His unorthodox relationship with FBI special agent Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) climaxed in the final scene of the season, in what might have been the most frightening hug in TV history. That scene felt like it could either be the end of Kemper and Ford's story or the middle, but it looks as though we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out which."I have absolutely no idea whether or not I am in it," Britton tells TV Guide of Season 2, "because there are so many serial killers that the guys at the FBI have to interview."Ford has already mentioned that he had requested interviews with Charles Manson and Son of Sam killer David Berkowitz. Executive producer David Fincher has also said that Season 2 will look at the Atlanta child murders of 1979-81, which are attributed to Wayne Williams, so presumably Ford's team will spend a lot of time talking to him.But one of the great attributes of Mindhunter's first season, according to Britton, was that it doesn't "throw a bunch of commercials at you, like 'wait 'til you see the Ed Kemper character.'" In other words, you might not know what serial killers are in Season 2 - and if Kemper will be among them -- until Ford enters the interrogation room with them.Mindhunter Season 2 is currently in production.
