Kristen Wiig is making her TV return with a sitcom for Apple.

The former Saturday Night Livestar (and current big-screen success) is returning to the small screen for a currently untitled comedy inspired by author Curtis Sittenfeld's upcoming short story collection You Think It, I'll Say It, Deadline reports. 30 Rock's Colleen McGuinness is the creator, showrunner and executive producer of the project. Wiig will also executive-produce, along with Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter through their company Hello Sunshine. It will be Wiig's first regular TV role since leaving SNL in 2012.

Wiig is a four-time Emmy nominee for her work with SNL and an Oscar nominee for writing the screenplay for Bridesmaids.

Apple hasn't released any shows yet, but the tech giant is bulking up to make a big push into TV. In addition to the Wiig sitcom, Apple is developing a drama series starring Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston as dueling morning show hosts that's already been picked up for two seasons (and that Apple is reportedly paying an astronomical amount of money to do it), a true crime podcast adaptation starring Octavia Spencer (also produced by Witherspoon) and a reboot of Steven Spielberg's '80s sci-fi and fantasy anthology Amazing Stories from Star Trek: Discovery's Bryan Fuller.
