The first trailer for Hulu's Four Weddings and a Funeralminiseries is here, and while there's no sign of that infamously bad rain scene from the original, this adaptation still promises plenty of complicated matters of the heart.

The series, co-created by Mindy Kaling, stars Game of Thronesbreakout Nathalie Emmanuel as a political operative named Maya who is traveling to London for a friend's wedding and meets Mr. Right, aka Kash (Nikesh Patel), at the airport. Maya is secretly intrigued by his "Ryan Gosling dripped in caramel" appeal -- only to find out later that he is the boyfriend of her longtime friend Ainsley (Rebecca Rittenhouse).

The 10-episode limited series offers a new spin on the 1994 rom-com of the same name, which means audiences can expect to see just that: four weddings and a funeral. As the trailer shows, fans of the original film will also get to see star Andie MacDowell make a cameo in this new take. John Reynolds, Brandon Mychal Smith, and Dermot Mulroney also star.

Four Weddings and a Funeral premieres on Hulu on July 31.

The original film version is currently available for streaming on Hulu.
