Watch My Show: You're the Worst's Stephen Falk Answers Our Showrunner Survey

FX's half-hour comedy You're the Worst, which finishes up its Season 1 run next Thursday, Sept. 18, has turned into a sleeper hit for the cable network. Critics have warmed up to the show, which stars Chris Geere and Aya Cash as two people who have soured on relationships yet find themselves drawn to one another. Desmin Borges and Kether Donohue also star in the anti-romantic comedy, which comes from creator Stephen Falk (Weeds, Orange is the New Black). Falk filled out our TV Guide Magazine showrunner survey to explain why You're The Worst isn't the worst.

Question: With the passing of the legendary TV talents Robin Williams and James Garner, don't you think it would be remiss if the upcoming Emmys didn't do a clips tribute to both of them? Awards shows have an unfortunate habit of dedicating chunks of time to a theme or subject that either makes no sense or ends up really boring. But these two gentlemen, who broke character boundaries and were excellent actors outside their niche personas, deserve special recognition. I just hope the producers of that upcoming show have the smarts to do something special, outside of the "In Memoriam" roll call. Your thoughts? — Karen

Review: USA's Rush and Satisfaction; FX's Un-RomComs

It started with the swearing, a not-so-subtle indication that USA Network's "blue skies" credo was welcoming some adult turbulence into its programming. Its shows of recent vintage, including the sleek, sexy and casually profane Suits and the gritty undercover drama Graceland, have started to move USA into edgier, bolder territory. Two new Thursday dramas, Rush (9/8c) and Satisfaction (10/9c), are furthering that evolution, threatening to go over the top with their shock-value content in what looks like a bad case of FX/AMC envy. The results are decidedly mixed.
