Yan Can Cook on PBS

Renowned chef Martin Yan, an Emmy and James Beard Award winner, prepares Asian dishes. The witty and accomplished Yan started cooking in a Hong Kong restaurant at 13, and says that his series' global reach has certain drawbacks (`people in Indonesia can't understand a word I say'), but that his movements in the kitchen speak a universal language: `When I pick up a head of broccoli, everybody knows exactly what I mean.'
