After weeks of battling it out vocally, Simon Cowell's power couple Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton, aka Alex & Sierra, have made it to the finals and are hoping to be crowned the Season 3 X Factor champs Thursday night (8/7c, Fox). They're up against Kelly Rowland's returning rocker Jeff Gutt and Paulina Rubio's Latin heartthrob Carlito Olivero. And in the case of fourth mentor Demi Lovato, well, the cheese stands alone once again.
Demi Lovato is exiting Fox's The X Factor. After spending two seasons sitting alongside Simon Cowell at the judges' table, the former Disney star will refocus her priorities in the new year. "I'm leaving to start a new chapter in my life," Lovato told reporters backstage after Wednesday's performance show. "I started this show being a singer and a musician, and it's time that I go back to that. I'm so excited for 2014 because I'm going to dedicate it completely and totally to music."
Demi Lovato is gearing up to exit The X Factor, according to People.
The magazine reports that the 21-year-old singer plans to focus the next year on her music. Lovato released a new album in March and is headlining her first arena tour beginning in February.
