ESPN Snatches Rights to Wimbledon from NBC

ESPN has secured full TV rights to Wimbledon, ending NBC's 43-year coverage of the Grand Slam tournament.

The network and the All England Club reached a 12-year agreement beginning next year. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Premise: Roger Federer vs. Andy Murray in the men's final at the All England Club in London. Murray is the first British player in the final since 1938, while Federer is in a record eighth final. Federer defeated Murray for two of his record 16 Grand Slam titles, at the 2008 U.S. Open and the 2010 Australian Open.
