NBC visionary Sylvester `Pat' Weaver dreamed up this live Sunday-afternoon travel program, in which cameras took viewers around the globe to explore exotic and remote destinations. Dave Garroway of the `Today' show acted as tour guide, signing off each episode with a few lines from Edna St. Vincent Millay: `The world stands out on either side/No wider than the heart is wide;/Above the world is stretched the sky,/No higher than the soul is high.'
