Season 1, Episode 8 Cause for Murder

“Cause for Murder” examines the slayings of two female Mexican lawyers, both of whom worked for human-rights causes and against official corruption. The film also looks at how the 2000 election of Vicente Fox as president has affected the political landscape in Mexico. Filmmaker Pamela Yates also produced the film, with the assistance of The New York Times. Following the film, host Dalgit Dhaliwal interviews Mexican historian Enrique Krauze.
