Premise: This current-affairs forum is the third incarnation of ABC News' current Sunday-morning franchise, which began in 1981 as 'This Week With David Brinkley.' Sam Donaldson and Cokie Roberts took over when Brinkley retired in 1996, and Stephanopoulos in 2002. From 1960 until '81, ABC's Sunday public-affairs show was known as 'Issues and Answers.'
