Premise: Chicago bachelor Jack Nagle believes he's the victim of a hex placed on him by an irate blind date. The series original title, `Cursed,' proved appropriate. Despite its plum time slot following `Friends,' it went through major retooling, including a name change to `The Weber Show' in December 2000. It didn't help, and in the end, the show couldn't escape its fate: cancellation.
