Premise: The U.S. take on the Brit hit, in which eight players field trivia questions asked by an insult-hurling host (known for the abrupt dismissal, `You are the weakest link. Good-bye!'), then vote off the group's least knowledgeable after each round. New episodes for a daytime syndicated version were shortened to 30 minutes and included six participants.
