Elisabeth Hasselbeck
The author of a health book has filed a plagiarism lawsuit against Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
"This week a claim was filed with regard to my book, The G-Free Diet," Hasselbeck said Wednesday on The View. "I assure you that the allegations are without merit, and are being handled appropriately."
Susan Hassett, a self-published author from Massachusetts, accused The View co-host of swiping parts of her book ...

Lauren Conrad
Contrary to what you saw on The Hills this season, in reality, Spencer Pratt never apologized about spreading sex-tape rumors, according to Lauren Conrad.
Conrad, who will not appear on the next season of The Hills, chatted with the ladies of The View Thursday about her novel L.A. Candy. She appeared stumped when panelist Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked her how she felt when Pratt called to make amends. "To be perfectly honest, I wasn't on the other line of that call," she said after a long pause. Pressed for details, Conrad added, "That was filmed and I wasn't on the other end. ... So no, I didn't get an apology; he's lying." What's the truth? Read on...

Elisabeth Hasselbeck
Looks like Elisabeth Hasselbeck received an unexpected visit from the stork.
"I'm pregnant again!" The View co-host announced on Thursday morning's show. "I'm due in August. I'll try to pop this one out before we leave [on summer hiatus], Barbara."
Hasselbeck and her hubby, former football pro Tim Hasselbeck, 30, have two children — daughter Grace, 3, and son Taylor Thomas, 1.
The 31-year-old thought she was worn down from election madness. She spent plenty of time ...

Ann Coulter
Über conservative Ann Coulter has been out and about (shamelessly) plugging her new book, Guilty: Liberal Victims, but the ladies of The View weren't afraid to talk over her incessant interruptions. As soon as Whoopi jumped right in citing Coulter's whole shtick as "an act," all hell broke loose. But the real kicker comes around the 6:40 mark when Barbara asks if she may read an excerpt from her book and Coulter replies saying, "Yes, and read it like you're reading [Hitler's] Mein Kampf." It's as though you can actually see the tiny daggers shooting out of Babs' eyes. Is it just us, or does Coulter make Elizabeth look like Michael Moore?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck
Who has enough clout to get a personal apology from The White House? Would you believe us when we say Elisabeth Hasselbeck? Because she did.
Usually an annual guest to the White House Christmas party, Hasselbeck did not receive an invitation this year and voiced her discontent on The View Tuesday morning.
"Maybe I didn't do enough for the Republican party this year," the loud and proud "Great AmeriCain Hero" supporter pouted on the show, adding that she has a "bone to pick" with the White House.
But don't worry about a Hasselbeck-Bush feud any time soon. After the show ...

Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Oprah Winfrey, and George Clooney
p>Daytime talk show hosts and celebs across the country are voicing their sentiments on Tuesday's historic victory for President-Elect Barack Obama.
Right off the bat, morning show hosts Regis Philbin and a very patriotic Kelly Ripa (wearing an American flag dress) had the crowds on their feet. "Let's hear it for our new president," shouted Regis to get the audience going. "It's time, really, for everyone to unite behind this young guy ...

Elisabeth Hasselbeck
Who knew that one of our most impassioned political orators would come from daytime TV?
Love her or hate her (see comments section below), Elisabeth Hasselbeck, co-host of Barbara Walters' The View (ABC, check local listings), has used her daily airtime to speak at length about her support of Sen. John McCain for president. Her politico-wonk-talk has been so prevalent, it even started several rumors that she might ditch Walters & Co. for a job at the Fox News Channel. (Not true, she says.) At various times, her verbal sparring with left-leaning co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar is seen as either patriotic and righteous or defensive and self-righteous. In the spirit of free speech, though, we present a timeline of Hasselbeck's own campaign for... what, exactly?
Have Hasselbeck's opinions influenced your vote? Or do you think public figures should keep their political beliefs to themselves? Read the timeline after the jump and then let your voice be heard in the comments section below.

If the shirt fits, wear it.
Not for Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
While The View's resident Republican is more than welcome to verbally get her thoughts off her chest about Sen. John McCain during Hot Topics, she just can't wear it on her chest. Hasselbeck donned a custom-made pro-McCain shirt last week that read "Great AmeriCain Hero," a fashion, er, political statement that is ...
