V Episode Recap: "Hearts and Minds" Season 1, Episode 10

Erica, Ryan, Father Jack and Hobbes learn Anna's sent a V shuttle filled with a deadly V tracker team to find them, and must figure out how to stop the shuttle from landing. Meanwhile, Anna gives Tyler his invitation to the Live Aboard Program, and Chad confronts Father Jack on what he knows about The Fifth Column.

The good news: Hobbes shoots a V shuttle out of the sky. Cheesy effects, but I'm not going to complain too much. Right on cue, though, is our trusty Father Jack who gets another fit of is this right or wrong. Unfortunately he may have been on to something; the remains of the bodies that were on board the shuttle are all human. Oh crap! Run like the wind resistance. Run like the wind! read more

V Episode Recap: "Heretic's Fork" Season 1, Episode 9

Erica, Father Jack and Hobbes realize that the Vs know names and addresses of The Fifth Column members and must take drastic measures to protect them. Meanwhile, Ryan finally reveals to Val that he's a Visitor, and Chad, with the camera rolling for "Prime Focus," begins the process aboard the Mother ship's Medical Bay to have his aneurysm removed.

7 minutes in

We begin where we left off with the human sniper being interrogated by Father Jack, Erica and Hobbes. Hobbes continues to help the man remember things by punching him in the face, but the guy sticks with his story of the Vs threatening to kill his wife and child if he didn't take out the four Fifth Column members. Just as Hobbes is about to punch him again, Father Jack stops him. There's only so much a priest can put up with, I guess.

V Episode Recap: "We Can't Win" Season 1, Episode 8

Chad and Anna are in Geneva, Switzerland for the U.N. Energy Summit, where Anna is going to present a gift of technology to the world. Meanwhile, Erica learns that the V Task Force is investigating The Fifth Column, and Valerie goes on the run, knowing something is different about her baby and not sure she can trust Ryan.

11 minutes in

The opening scene starts out like a dream for Mr. Chad Decker. He exits his bathroom to see Anna waiting for him and quickly realizes that all the choking and kissing she does to him (yes, he had no choice) is merely a nightmare. Yes, it was all a bad dream. On the television, however, it's a nations dream as Anna is in Geneva to unveil her crisp and clean blue energy to the world. Just when it looked like she was going to eat his face too.

V Episode Recap: "John May" Season 1, Episode 7

Erica, Ryan and Jack go on a harrowing mission to find the legendary John May in order to rescue Georgie, Anna brings Chad aboard the Mother ship for a story on her Live Aboard Program, and Tyler confronts his mom about his mysterious past.

11 minutes in

Ryan is beamed down to the earth from his stealth V ship. He confronts John May who explains that he is a traitor and that he enjoys getting a high more from human emotions than he does from the "bliss." Ryan, not a good V yet, tells him he's been wearing the human skin too long and that's why he's confused. John May, after tactically trapping Ryan in a bear trap (don't ask), spares Ryan's life and says that one day he'll understand.

V Episode Recap: "Pound of Flesh" Season 1, Episode 6

11 minutes in
Ah Bliss. Who doesn't love the bliss? Well, apparently one Visitor who blows up himself, his girlfriend and those around him. According to ____ it's happened on other ships as well. The Fifth Column is everywhere. Marcus and Anna talk about the plight on the mother ship where Anna reveals that the Fifth Column has seemingly become immune to the Bliss and have somehow taken on human emotions. It's getting bad for Anna. And she's not going down without a fight. She wants Joshua ASAP so she can end this uprising.

Back at Erica's place, everything seems fine between Tyler and Erica. She even tells him it's cool to go up to the ship to help out. But alas it's all for the cameras — mainly the one in Tyler's jacket pointed right at her. Smile for the camera mom.

V Episode Recap: "It's Only the Beginning" Season 1, Episode 4

Erica works with newly-formed allies to uncover a biological threat they suspect the Visitors have been plotting. Aboard the Mothership, Anna meets with a special guest while managing the investigation into the murder of a V. And Chad does a segment on the V Healing Centers, demonstrating their amazing medical abilities, but then finds himself conflicted by some of his findings.

Let us begin...

11 minutes into the show...

The show starts off with Georgie lying on the ground in some parking garage and Erica coming to his aid. From the shadows emerges Ryan holding a gun, the barrel of which is pointed straight at Erica. A moment later, Ryan pulls the trigger. Now, we are to presume he's shooting at Erica, but my guess is he was probably shooting a V or someone else in the vicinity. Guess we'll see since we're informed that this happens 14 hours in the future. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of these kind of set ups since most of the time the pay-off is cheesy and gimmicky. I hope that's not the case in this episode.
