Premise: Cedric the Entertainer hosts the third annual event paying tribute to TV series that have withstood the test of time. Awards are presented to “The Carol Burnett Show,” “The Bob Newhart Show” and “Soul Train.” “We bestow an honor to these shows not just because of the quality of work but how it affects the culture,” explains executive producer Sal Maniaci. Also: Joan Collins, Peggy Lipton and Jason Priestley are among those scheduled to acknowledge Aaron Spelling's contributions to the medium.
