Trying Times on PBS

An anthology of wry, whimsical tales narrated by the episode's main character. This was an intriguing and rare comic effort by PBS, with a deep talent pool that included Teri Garr, Steven Wright, Rosanna Arquette, Spalding Gray, playwright Beth Henley and director Jonathan Demme.
