The Lying Game's Ethan and Emma are going to have a major blow-out on Monday's Season 1 finale.
"There's a fantastic scene with Emma and Ethan out at the trailer where they get into a very big fight," star Alexandra Chando tells TVGuide.com. "It's nice to see these two people who really love each other fighting finally and letting it all out."
Describing Hell on Wheels as "Revenge in the mud" makes it sound a lot more enjoyable than it is. AMC's sprawling but heavy-handed attempt to revive and redefine the Western (a newly hot TV-development trend) is solemn business indeed, with precious little wit or originality. (It premieres Sunday at 10/9c.)
NBC's holiday singing competition wraps up its second season tonight after two weeks of spirited performances by some of the country's top a cappella groups. In the finale, the winning group — which receives $100,000 and a Sony Music recording contract — is named, and surprise special guests perform. — Brie Hearn

[Look for a TVGuide.com Insider Q&A with Abby on Monday, Aug. 14.] Barney & Friends (Sept. 15, PBS) also waited 13 years to introduce Riff, their new dino character, whose musical imagination helps usher in an era of more varied tunes. No way! As the World Turns actress Alexandra Chando (Maddie) will appear on one of my fave reality-TV guilty pleasures, MTV's True Life. Chando's episode, entitled True Life: I'm Getting My Big Break, will offer an inside look at what it's like to be a teen soap starlet. OK, so this installment doesn't sound quite as temptingly salacious as others — like True Life: I'm a Slut or True Life: I'm Obese — but we should still tune in and support a daytime girl. (Although it was originally slated to air March 15, MTV has just rescheduled this episode to air sometime in May.)
