Vampires are on the verge of becoming extinct in the final season of True Blood.
In the first trailer for Season 7, Sookie (Anna Paquin) surveys Bon Temps as the vampires start attacking each other. "How can this be happening in this country and in this day of age that our government would leave us for dead?" Sookie says. "Now good folks in this town are turning on each other, acting like animals."

In the final few seconds, Sookie, surrounded by Sam (Sam Trammell), Jason (Ryan Kwanten), Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and Sheriff Andy (Chris Bauer), says, "There's no one left."
