Those of you who said last week's episode wasn't the last we'd see of Alex were right. Her suicide attempt was thwarted just in the nick of time by Julian, who was going to deliver the news in person that their film had been financed. It took a bathtub of blood to finally get Millicent to admit her drug problem. Mouth is by Millie's side as she sobs, admits she stole the dress from Brooke's line, and tells him of her cocaine and pill addiction. Millicent apologizes to Brooke who tells her, "You're not my model anymore, but you're still my friend. Just go get some help." So she checks herself in and she and Mouth share a tearful good-bye. They both know that for now the relationship is over. "I will always be there for you, sweet girl," Mouth whispers in her ear before walking out the door.

After a one-week hiatus, the One Tree Hill gang is back, and while one couple stays stronger than ever, three others seem to break further apart.
Nathan works with his agency, minus Clay, and a deal is coming in. But during the meeting, Nathan and Haley find out it's to play overseas in Spain — a way for Nate to improve his game and come back to the NBA a year later. Not quite the deal they were hoping for. And for Haley, this new option may hurt her career in the short-term. When she suggests to Miranda that she finish her album in Spain, Miranda tells her that they've scheduled a tour to support the new album and if she doesn't go through with it, she'll break the record contract. But when Haley asks Nathan what he's thinking, he tells her that they should go to Spain. Nate believes if he were to sit out of the NBA for a year, he wouldn't make it back, while playing overseas during that time, will ensure his return. After talking everything over with her sis, Haley tells Nathan she's not going on tour because she wants him to have his dream. But Nathan already mapped out the tour for her, with every great stop along the way, and wants her to have her dream as well. Aww.

This week's episode was quite the downer. Millicent's cocaine habit kicked in, Nathan and Clay both lost their jobs and Brooke gave Julian some devastating news.
The Bobcats have signed a new point guard, leaving Nathan without a contract and a team. Saying he's pissed at Clay is an understatement. As Nate confronts his agent, who hasn't even heard the signing news yet, Quinn walks in the room, which only makes things worse. Nathan had made it clear that Clay should stay away from Haley's sister; the fact that he couldn't do the two things Nathan asked of him leads him to give him the axe.

Brooke may be preggers, Dan's back in town and Millicent is on a downward spiral with a new pill addiction. Just another day on One Tree Hill. And kudos to Sophia Bush for directing. Now onto the recap.
Brooke is upset that Julian has been spending his nights up late working with Alex who she doesn't trust in the least. But maybe Brooke is more upset that she thinks she's pregnant and Julian may not be react well. B heads the OBGYN and is nothing but smiles when she sees the expecting moms all around her. Unfortunately, her excitement is short-lived when she finds out she's not pregnant and won't be the girl who "gets the baby and the boy."

After last week's revealing episode, we were treated to a much more light-hearted hour this time around. The boys went camping, the girls had a trip of their own, and Clay finally was able to begin the process of letting go of his dead wife.
The boys — Nathan, Mouth, Skills, Jamie and his friend Chuck — are going camping, but Julian is a tad bit hesitant as he's not a guy's guy. "I don't have homies," he tries to explain to Brooke. But with his lame camping references and his extreme over-packing, Julian is ready to join the others on the outdoor adventure. After some zip-lining and scary stories, the little ones go to bed. The rest debate the best sports movie of all time, and while Nathan says an obvious Field of Dreams, Mouth comes out with Coach Carter — a reference to the film that Tree Hill writer/producer Mark Schwahn wrote. Julian, who had all the funny lines this episode, contributed his pick of Cool Runnings, followed by him singing the famous, "Jamaica, we have a bobsled team," from the movie. The conversation quickly turns R-rated when Skills reveals that Nathan and Brooke made a sex tape in high school. Julian, rightfully pissed and inquisitive, finally shuts up when Nathan tells him, "I lost my virginity to my sister-in-law, you don't think that makes Thanksgiving a little awkward from time to time?"

Nathan's rumored affair has hit the tabloids and it's time for him to face the music. As soon as the story breaks, Nate's son, Jamie, sees the tabloid detailing the sordid story of Nathan, Renee and their supposed love child in the grocery store. Poor Jamie gets picked on by his friends, who laugh that he's going to be getting a brother or sister, but Nathan assures him the only sibling he'll ever get in the future will be from his mom and dad.
