Premise: The addictive 1989 British miniseries about the drug trade that spawned Steven Soderbergh's Oscar-winning movie `Traffic' aired on `Masterpiece Theatre' in 1990. An International Emmy winner, this gritty drama brilliantly interweaves stories of producers, suppliers, users and others caught up in the global heroin business.
