Mad Men
10 pm/ET AMC
Season 4 opens with an Advertising Age reporter trying to find out just "Who is Don Draper?" Unfortunately for the scribe and the "scrappy upstart" firm of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, who hope that this promotional story would generate a rash of business, the secretive Mr. Draper spills no beans. Still, there is plenty going on in this involving episode as Pete and Peggy hire actors to stage a food fight over a meat company's product; and Don admonishes a prudish swimsuit manufacturer that his company can be "comfortable and dead, or risky and possibly rich." And on the ex-homefront, Don issues Betty an unsettling ultimatum. — Ray Stackhouse

Rookie Blue
9 pm/ET ABC While this summer hit is already slated for a second season, its rookies — in their rookie season — have been making their share of mistakes on the job. Tonight, squad members are tested by a home invasion in a posh neighborhood, and officers reveal quite a bit about their off-duty lives. And once it seems like the smoke has cleared, Traci leaves to take care of a personal matter, and Andy winds up facing an armed perpetrator by herself. Let's hope she remembered to load her gun this time. — Fred Mitchell

Warehouse 13
9/8c Syfy
If Spock died in the second Star Trek film and came back to life in the third, and if David Tennant's Dr. Who can "die" and come back as Matt Smith, surely Artie (Saul Rubinek) could've found something in the warehouse to let him survive the inferno that consumed him at the end of the first-season finale. Right? And while we're throwing around sci-fi luminaries, it's worth mentioning that an author who helped to establish the genre turns up in tonight's second-season launch.
