Top Chef Masters

Top Chef Masters
10/9c Bravo
The culinary contest turns on the heat as we start dipping into the last course. (The season finale airs next week.) All eyes are on the remaining four food fighters — Rick Bayless, Michael Chiarello, Hubert Keller and Anita Lo — when they whip up meals while blindfolded. Afterward, the chefs must cater a large event, but the challenge comes with a catch: They are forbidden to handle the food, and must instead tap into their teaching and leadership skills. Assisting them are erstwhile Top Chef contestants, including the fiery Dale Talde, who evidently gets into a dishin'-and-dissin' duel with Chiarello.

Mega Buzz on CSI: Miami, Brothers & Sisters, 90210, Chuck & More

CSI: Miami's Eddie Cibrian, Brothers & Sisters' Rob Lowe and 90210's Jennie Garth

I am trying to get my hands on some scoops for next season of CSI: Miami. —  Jennifer
TIM:
How about some insight into new series regular Eddie Cibrian's arrival? We haven't heard much about him lately. Cibrian's Jesse Cardoza, a transfer from Los Angeles, gets taken hostage on his very first day. During the crisis, he performs a heroic deed that requires him to take off his shirt, as heroic deeds often do. But Cardoza's first day won't come until Season 8's second episode: The Sept. 21 season premiere will flash back to 1997, when we'll learn about his past connection to Horatio.

Is there any word on a Season 4 premiere for Brothers & Sisters—  Dave
MATT: Yes, ABC (finally) set a Sept. 27 return for the Walkers. Among the storylines you can watch for this fall: Kitty and Robert are still... read more

Michael & Michael Have Issues

Dark Blue
10 pm/ET TNT
It's the pros against the cons in this visceral crime drama that tracks the shadowy derring-do of an undercover task force. In the premiere, brooding team leader Carter Shaw (Dylan McDermott) tries to take down a suave gang leader responsible for torturing an FBI agent and leaving him for dead. But the case turns messy when one of Carter's own embedded men (Logan Marshall-Green) seemingly flips loyalties. Executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the show features intriguing characters, bullet-blazing violence and a gritty edge, making it a fine counterpart to the lighter caper series Leverage, which precedes it on Wednesdays.

Top Chef Masters Host Previews Twists and Dysfunction

Top Chef Masters

Bravo brings its "A" game to the kitchen as 24 world-renowned chefs cook up a storm — in some truly bizarre situations — on Top Chef Masters (premiering Wednesday, June 10 at 10 pm/ET).

But why would these distinguished chefs mess with their already meritorious reputations? "It takes some major guts [to be on this show] because they're all well established and don't need to raise their profile in any way, shape or form," says host Kelly Choi, the new Padma. "So they're kind of already messing with something that's pristine, and they can only ... read more

Letters to the President
8 pm/ET HBO2
When a nation plays it as close to the vest as Iran, it's hard to know what goes on behind its borders, but a trio of documentaries seek to give at least a glimpse of what makes the country tick. The first is Letters to the President, a look at Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's correspondence with the populace. It's followed by The Queen and I on June 17 (8 pm/ET), a chronicle of a former revolutionary's relationship with the Shah's widow, and Be Like Others: Transsexuals in Iran on June 24 (8 pm/ET).
