Part 1 of two. The Thornberrys visit Nigel's mother (voice of Lynn Redgrave) and father in Scotland before traveling to London, where Nigel is knighted by the Queen of England. He's also offered a professorship at Oxford, but taking it would mean giving up the clan's globe-trotting lifestyle. Also: the family attempts to rescue a golden eagle from an evil gamekeeper.
