The Unit is investigated by the Army for possible war crimes. Jonas and his men are relieved of their duties pending the probe and are ordered not to communicate with one another. Of course, they do as they attempt to figure out what's going on. The situation also affects Col. Ryan and his relationship with his not-so-understanding wife. Elsewhere, Mack confronts Tiffy about Wilson, and the CIA continues to recruit Brown. read more

The Unit captures three Pakistani men from a Waziristan village to take in for questioning, but Jonas and his men are pursued by militia. They take refuge in a U.S. command post staffed with mostly malcontents under the direction of a young female lieutenant who doesn't have the respect of her troops. Ryan learns of the dream and believes Bob told Kim about the plan. Ryan threatens to fire Bob and abort the mission. The Broom Cupboard Season 2, Episode 12

Jonas is ordered by the president (William H. Macy) to meet with the son of an Asian country's overthrown king, who plans to topple the dictatorial regime that ousted his father. Jonas is supposed to fit this in while also protecting a female U.S. senator on a humanitarian mission to the Asian country. To complicate things further, Jonas cannot tell anyone else, even his commander, about the president's orders. Silver Star Season 2, Episode 11

Jonas' father is awarded the Silver Star for heroic actions in Korea at a private ceremony attended by family members. Jonas recalls his dad's deeds to his nephew, also a soldier, after he learns that his nephew beats his wife. Back on base, Mack attempts, via radio contact, to help a man land a private jet after the pilot dies at the controls. read more

Bait Season 2, Episode 10

Jonas is captured by a militia group during a mission and held hostage. He's forced to make a video that outlines the group's demands. The chief one is that a terrorist held by the U.S. be released within 48 hours or Jonas will be executed. The suits in Washington, D.C., refuse to negotiate, so Col. Ryan sends his own men in to attempt a rescue. Back at the base, Tiffy learns she may face time in prison for her involvement in covering up Charlotte's reckless driving. read more

Jonas travels to Latin America to assassinate an oil minister who is threatening to cut off his country's oil supply to the U.S., but the mission is placed in jeopardy when details of it are leaked to a newspaper. Making things even more difficult for Jonas is the fact that the woman who is posing as his wife takes her role very seriously and comes on to him. Back at the base, Molly worries that Crystal is overspending. In Washington, D.C., Col. Ryan testifies before eight congressmen. read more

Natural Selection Season 2, Episode 8

A helicopter carrying Bob and a woman translator crashes in a remote area in Russia. The two aren't injured seriously, but the cold weather and lack of food soon begin to wear them down. As Bob searches for food and help, he remembers back to when he went through training for the Unit to see if he would qualify. It was a time when Jonas' job was to make sure he failed. read more

Off the Meter Season 2, Episode 7

Jonas and Bob agree to help a mother rescue her 17-year-old daughter from a cult whose members are about to flee the U.S. The guys' participation isn't authorized by the Unit and is strictly off the clock. They travel to Arizona with Cheals for the mission and meet up with the distraught mom. When they enter the cult compound, things don't go quite as they planned. Back at home, Tiffy covers for Charlotte Ryan with the police after she sees her driving erratically and discovers pills in her car. read more

Old Home Week Season 2, Episode 6

Jonas poses as a diamond merchant in Africa, where he and his crew set their sights on tracking a terrorist. Back home, Molly and the other wives prepare for an annual base reunion and discover an undelivered love letter written by a soldier to his wife shortly before he was killed in action in 1944. They attempt to find the widow and deliver the letter to her. Also, Tiffy disrupts a peace rally and defends her views on warfare. read more

Force Majeure Season 2, Episode 5

The Unit attempts to return an African dictator, who is secretly in the U.S. for a liver transplant, back to his homeland. But a hurricane causes the hospital where the general is a patient to flood and be evacuated. When Jonas and his crew arrive on scene, they call for a helicopter, but unforeseen circumstances put their mission in peril. Back at the base, Molly struggles over whether to honor Jeremy's request to be sent to Iraq and Tiffy wants to get pregnant. read more

Jonas and his team track a terrorist smuggled into the U.S. They believe the man, who is a demolitions expert, is planning on detonating a bomb, so the Unit searches for the target. Back on base, Kim gets upset when she sees a strange man talking to her daughter, Serena, outside of school. She grows even more alarmed when she learns the man was asking Serena questions about her father. read more

Jonas and his crew attempt to help two other Unit members who are pinned down by a sniper in a Paraguay village. When they reach the location, they discover that one soldier is dead. Back at the base, news of the man's death reaches his fiancée, who is like a mother to his two daughters. Unfortunately, she isn't their legal guardian, and the Army intends to turn the girls over to their estranged grandparents. read more

Jonas and his team enter a Bulgarian prison to capture a former Unit operator involved in dealing weapons and persuade him to help them track down the world's leading arms dealer. The Unit is in Pakistan, where Jonas learns that terrorists are planning a biological attack by spreading a deadly disease via airline passengers.
