The final edge detail for the soapstone countertops is created and the countertops are later darkened using carnauba wax and walnut oil; 12-inch marble tiles are cut down for the wainscoting; and new oak stair treads are scribed to the old fieldstone foundation wall. In the second half: "Ask This Old House" celebrates its 300th episode by recalling its best moments and revealing behind-the-scenes secrets.
