Young and the Restless, Steve Harvey Win Big at Daytime Emmy Awards

The Young and the Restless was the big winner at Sunday's Daytime Emmy Awards. The CBS soap took home six prizes including Best Drama Series, Best Drama Series Writing Team, Best Lead Actor (Billy Miller), and Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Amelia Heinle).

The awards, hosted by Kathy Griffin, also honored The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which won its eighth trophy for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show, as well as Steve Harvey, who was a winner for Best Game Show Host (Family Feud) and Outstanding Informative Talk Show (The Steve Harvey Show).

The Jeff Probst Show Canceled After One Season

The Jeff Probst Show will not survive to see a second season.

The daytime TV show, led by Survivor's longtime host, was canceled after one season Wednesday, according to Deadline.

The Season 3 premiere of The Voice easily topped Monday, but also posted the series' lowest-rated premiere ever.

Steve Harvey Debuts as Host of Family Feud

Steve Harvey is hoping his comedy chops will be a recipe for success as he takes over hosting duties on Family Feud.

"I bet you there's not a funnier game show on TV," Harvey told The Associated Press. "We've done some pretty incredible stuff so far."

Harvey, who makes his debut as host on Monday, has already taped 100 episodes, according to the AP. The gig will not interfere with his comedy tour and syndicated radio show.
