Season 3, Episode 11
Dutch takes the chilling confession of the man who was arrested in the serial-rape case; a tip from a suspect who shot at Shane offers possibilities for the Strike Team; and Det. Danny Sofer goes undercover.
Capt. Aceveda launches a personal war against the Bizlats street gang, with particular emphasis on one member; Dutch and Wyms make progress in their serial rape case.

A lynching exacerbates racial tensions, big changes come to the power structure at the Barn and Corrine is attacked by a patient at the hospital where she works.
In what Det. Wyms calls “the worst day on record,” an undercover assignment goes bad on Det. George (Nicki Micheaux); Julien's partner Tommy is fired; and relationships are strained.

A CD of narcocorridos, or songs about crimes, provides the detectives with leads on some cold cases. Elsewhere, the Strike Team attempts to breach Aceveda's office safe in a risky effort to acquire the list of marked currency that's mixed in with their money-train score.

When the ex-wife and child of Julien's former partner, Tommy, are murdered, Tommy becomes a suspect, prompting Julien to team up with Mackey to conduct their own investigation. Elsewhere, Shane goes undercover to catch a group attacking gay prostitutes.
Season 3, Episode 5
Marked bills lead Aceveda and a federal agent closer to the truth about the Armenian money-train heist in an episode with a recurring motif of people not reporting crimes against them.
The Strike Team and the Decoy Squad work a triple-homicide investigation with more than bragging rights involved; the tension between Shane and Tavon escalates; and Vic's daughter Cassidy (Autumn Chiklis) runs away from home.
Season 3, Episode 3
Reinforcements---the Decoy Squad from the Wilshire precinct---arrive, and Det. Wyms is put in charge of them and the Strike Team. Aisha Hinds, Faruq Tauheed.
Vic and the Strike Team take on the Bizlats street gang, which is packing automatic rifles stolen from an Army base; Vic has issues with Shane and his girlfriend, Mara (Michelle Hicks).
In the third-season opener, the murders of two Armenian mobsters bring some heat on the Strike Team and its money-train score. Elsewhere, the Team deals with a neighborhood arms race.
