Just a year ago, OWN's financial losses and struggle for ratings began to concern the Wall Street analysts who follow the venture that Oprah Winfrey co-owns with Discovery Communications. Who Are Hollywood's Highest-Paid Celebs?

Oprah Winfrey

Media mogul Oprah Winfrey topped Forbes' list of the highest-paid celebrities, raking in $165 million between May 2011 and May 2012.

Winfrey, whose earnings actually fell by $125 million from the previous year, remains at the top thanks to the final season of The Oprah Winfrey Show, as well as her eponymous magazine, OWN, her spin-off shows and Sirius radio deal.

Who Earns What: TV's highest-paid stars

Coming in just behind Winfrey is movie director Michael Bay,  who earned $160 million. His Blockbuster film Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, which he earns profits on, took in a whopping $1.1 billion at the box office.

Steven Spielberg took the No. 3 spot, earning $130 million in the last year. His company DreamWorks produced Falling Skies, Terra Nova and Smash for television and the Oscar-nominated films The Adventures of Tintin and War Horse.

TV Guide Magazine Celebrates The Oprah Winfrey Show's Top 25 Moments

Oprah Winfrey

What better way to celebrate 25 years of The Oprah Winfrey Show than by making a list of our favorite Oprah moments. The only problem? There were too many to choose from! In 25 years on the air, Oprah Winfrey created some classic, unforgettable moments of television that made us laugh, cry, think, vote, donate and stand up and cheer. First we asked our readers for your input — and then TV Guide Magazine's editors had a few meetings where we argued, debated and ultimately shaped a list that got quite a bit of attention. So much so, in fact, that OWN decided to turn our list into a six-part series — TV Guide Magazine's Top 25 Best Oprah Show Moments — that premieres Tuesday, Aug. 28 with back-to-back episodes at 9/8c and 10/9c.

Thanks for the memories, Oprah. Here are three that made the list. read more

Premise: A one-woman (one name, really) entertainment dynasty, and the gold standard in the talk-show genre, able to attract just about any guest, and so influential that her `book club' practically guaranteed that works she endorsed would be bestsellers. Smart and charismatic, the multi-Emmy winner is also self-effacing enough that, after copping the TV academy's Lifetime Achievement Award, she removed herself from more Emmy nods, noting, `after you've achieved it for a lifetime, what else is there?'
