Dr. Chris goes off the beaten track in some of the world's most popular cities. He gets an insider's tour of Thailand's bustling capital, heads underground for a surprising adventure in Sydney, and discovers unusual things to do in Brisbane.
Dr. Chris explores Heron Island and witnesses an incredible event in the life of sea turtles; heads to Kangaroo Island and dives in to find the leafy sea dragon; travels to Thailand and encounters a group of monkeys that like to cause trouble; searches for the elusive pygmy elephant in Borneo; and competes in a race where the goal is to finish completely covered in color.
Dr. Chris goes to Western Australia in search of the world's largest shark. Later, he flies to the Cook Islands to find a unique bird, travels to Melbourne to join a professional-rugby team, and joins a few locals on a high-flying adventure at an acrobat school.
Dr. Chris travels to New Zealand and experiences the most extreme adventures the country has to offer, including going to the top of Sky Tower, braving the Skywalk and the Skyjump, and going zip-lining and river-tubing through an underground-cave system.
Dr. Chris comes eye-to-eye with humpback whales. Then, he finds monkeys in the hottest places in Japan, comes within inches of molten hot lava in Hawaii, encounters Canada's most iconic creature, and pushes himself to the limit in a Kenyan marathon.
Dr. Chris travels to Kangaroo Island and swims with a group of sea lions that like to have fun. Then, he enters the dragon's lair and discovers the leafy sea dragon and embarks on a photography challenge filled with friendly competition.
Dr. Chris travels to Thailand, where he encounters a group of monkeys that like to cause trouble, and explores the vibrant city of Valparaíso, Chile. Later, he joins a game of soccer where the uniform is a giant, plastic bubble and steps back in time to master the Middle Ages.
Dr. Chris races with dolphins, takes part in an elephant water fight in Thailand and explores the Bungle Bungle Range in the Outback. Later, he swims with giant manta rays and visits a natural water park.
Dr. Chris traverses the globe to meet unique animals, including orphaned orangutans in Malaysia, sled dogs in the Australian Alps, falcons in Abu Dhabi, a Canadian wolf pack and birds on Lord Howe Island in Australia.
Dr. Chris embarks on an underwater adventure, during which he dives through a cavern to see a vibrant population of fish and sharks. Later, he swims alongside a pod of dolphins and watches humpback whales.
In the series premiere, Dr. Chris travels to Borneo, where he searches for the elusive pygmy elephant, encounters a family of long-tailed macaques and helps orphaned orangutans at a rehabilitation clinic.
