Premise: Two contestants compete for cash and prizes by pulling the lever of a giant slot machine and answering questions from randomly selected categories. The place where `knowledge is king and lady luck is queen' was a comeback of sorts for Jack Barry, who had been pretty much out of the business since the quiz-show scandals of the 1950s. He hosted this show until his death in 1984. The format was overhauled for a less popular '90s syndicated version, which upped the number of players to three.
