Why is it that the girls on The Hills constantly up and move without any notice? Last time it was Heidi leaving Lauren for Spencer. This time when Audrina informed Lauren she would be moving out soon, she meant that weekend. But Lauren isn't the only one out of the loop; Audrina hasn't shared the news with Justin Bobby yet either. "I'm not going to plan on anything, we'll just see what happens," she says. Yeah right.
Bolthouse is opening his latest hotspot XIV and Heidi is heavily involved in the project. Can you believe it went from this construction site to like this totally awesome restaurant? Oh Heidi. Well luckily "Mrs. Coordinator" is there to help out but she better be careful because the big boss-man Sam remembers what happened in Vegas and there better be no boyfriends interrupting this time around. Despite the subtle warning, Heidi tells Kimberly that she plans to invite Spencer and Stephanie even though it's going to be a stressful night.
At dinner Audrina shares the good news about the house with Justin and then drops the bomb. At first she's excited and wants him to see the new place but then becomes hesitant. "What are you thinking?" he asks. Audrina confesses that she doesn't know if she wants to live by herself and then says, "Do you want to move in, maybe?" Looks like everyone around her including Lauren, Lo and her sister Casey were right for questioning her motives. Justin, in his non-committal way, tells her that they should just see what happens. Not quite the reaction Audrina had hoped for.
At the XIV opening, Heidi is relieved that it's not a disaster but that it's magnificent. And look who shows up. There's Stephanie, Spencer and even Audrina, Justin and Casey. They all cheers to Audrina moving out but when Spencer asks JB if he'll be moving in, his no answer makes it all a little awkward. Heidi takes shot after shot and is "sooo wasted." Bad move. Sam comes up to her looking for Brent and then asks, "Are you working?" Heidi responds, "Are you working?" As if things couldn't get worse Spencer has to then show Sam where the bar is as if he should be over there drinking rather than overseeing the launch of his new business venture. The next day Brent calls Kimberly, the event coordinator, into his office. He had just gotten off the phone with Sam who was concerned that they were drinking. "I definitely wasn't. Out of respect for you I'd never do that," she says. "Was Heidi wasted?" he asks her. "I don't think so." Time for Heidi to answer for herself. Brent tells her that Sam was pissed she was drinking. Heidi is "sooo sorry" and gets that sour look on her face when she knows she's screwed up. Apparently she figured that since her responsibilities at the opening had been taken care of, she was free to drink away. Not so much. Brent told her that her boyfriend being there was "not okay" and that he influencing her is something she needs to deal with. And then he said it. "Get your bag, get your stuff," Heidi was fired.
Back at house, Lauren is helping Audrina pack up. "Who are you going to cry with?" Lauren wonders. "I'll just call you," Audrina tells her. Interesting how Audrina comments that Lauren has been there for her so much with regards to Justin yet she's pretty much moving in with him. Looks like there may be more crying to come. With that they share their teary goodbyes and Lauren assures her that it's not the end of their story, it's a "to be continued..."
Do you this friendship will survive the split? What will Heidi do now that her fake job has been terminated?
