We’ll Never Be Friends Season 4, Episode 1

Welcome back to The Hills! Not gonna lie, I was super excited for this season to begin after watching "Drama in Memorable Moments" and the awesome teaser for what was to come. Well, was it all you thought it would be? So glad to see Whitney and Lauren working together at People's Revolution. As per usual Whitney was there to ask questions so that us viewers would know what Lauren was up to. This time we learned that not only would she be throwing Audrina a birthday party (so the 3 girls are still living together), but Lauren had a date with this season's new love interest Doug. Turns out Doug is a bit of a blast from the past for LC as she went to his prom. They go on their date to Red Pearl Kitchen and can we say hottie? Lauren is completely smitten. Over in Heidiwood we see that she and Spencer have moved back in together. No surprises there. And lucky for us Stephanie soon won't be on the only sister in town. Heidi's sis is visiting and she's already worried that Spencer will be none too pleased about it. Turns out she's right. Seriously Spencer, you can't even be nice to your girlfriend/fiancé/client's sister?? Audrina's party seemed to be a success for Audrina, not so much for Lo and Lauren. Audrina has some interesting friends to say the least and Lo is so over it. Doug and Frankie show up (apparently they're friends?) but Lauren is too pre-occupied making sure the party is running smoothly and trying to get Lo involved outside. Lo doesn't feel like putting anymore effort in and resorts to going upstairs. Justin Bobby showed up still sporting his short hair but no flames seemed to be re-ignited between him and Audrina. I have to comment on the fact that during the commercial break when they cut to the after-party Holly, Heidi's sister, looked so incredibly uncomfortable while being interviewed. She has a lot to learn if she's going to be a new cast member on The Hills. At the end of the episode, Lo decided to take Lauren's advice and talk to Audrina. Both were pretty strong in their arguments and valid in their emotions. Lo feels that Audrina doesn't give any effort back and Audrina doesn't care anymore because she's tired of being on the outside of the friendship. With no resolution the conversation came to pretty awkward ending. Should be interesting to see if the three girls can continue as roomies. So did this first episode fly by or what? Did you like it? Do you think Holly moving to LA will shake things up even more? For more of The Hills head over to our Online Video Guide show less
