Drama Follows Them Season 4, Episode 2

Tonight was Stephanie's birthday party and we all knew that no Pratt party could go on without drama. Lauren was down to go from the beginning but was a little hesitant that Spencer and Heidi would show up. But did she really think they wouldn't? Not only is Spencer family but MTV lives for this type of scenario. At Creperie, Doug and Lauren are enjoying a little lunch date where she invites him to the party and also tells him about Lo & Audrina's not so friendly chat. He nails it by pointing out that everyone in her life is hectic. It's true, how do these girls live with so much drama?? Over at People's Revolution, Whitney tells Lauren that she has been invited to a dinner with Kelly Cutrone and Company which she's a bit apprehensive about. Later on at Simon, the NY and LA offices are having dinner when Kelly mentions that she wants to bring Whitney over to NY. Kelly also shoots down, once again, the LA publicist Jessica. I was wondering how that girl is still there since she looks miserable anytime she's in the same room as Kelly but later on we found that she got the axe and now Whitney is being offered her job. Yay for Whitney, the only girl on the show actually advancing her career. Too bad she gets warned that she'll have to devote her life to People's Rev but Whitney seems up for the challenge, and the opportunity to spend some time in the Big Apple. So Spencer and Heidi are out to dinner and I'm sorry but anytime Spencer talks, especially when he's angry, I can't help but giggle. He sounds like a two year old!! Heidi wants them to go to Stephanie's party since she's family but she's also pretty quick to bash her as well. Side note and off topic- I have to say that I'm not so sure Lo is as big of a be-yotch as MTV is making her out to be. Thoughts? Anyway, Stephanie's party is in full swing as Audrina stops over followed by Frankie, Brody and Doug. But the shock of the night (okay not so much, of course they were going to go) is that Spencer shows up, balloons and Heidi in hand. Brody immediately leaves to avoid the drama and Lo and Lauren soon follow suit. The whole party scene actually seemed pretty odd and not as drama filled as I had hoped expected. The day after the party, Spencer confronts Stephanie about "jumping ship" and inappropriately likens her attempts at bringing the two sides together, to telling Iran and Israel to get along. Spencer also tells her that he doesn't want to see her anymore and wishes he could undo her as sister but doesn't he always say stuff like this but then keep coming back? Stephanie's plan is starting to backfire on both sides because now Lauren is getting more skeptical as well. Even though Stephanie told her that she was shocked to see Speidi show up, you can see the wheels turning in Lauren's head as she tells her that she's only giving everyone reason to believe she can't be trusted. So did you all like tonight's ep? Next week Whitney meets a boy and Lauren dumps Doug and goes back to liking Brody. Should be interesting!
