Cabo! Every season it seems that our kids in The Hills head over to Cabo or some other vacation destination. This time there was no shortage of drama as Audrina and Justin had to face what they really are to each other. And back in LA, Spencer was at his finest. When he and Heidi have dinner with Stephanie and new boyfriend Cameron, the charm is so overwhelming that it looks like there will be no family fun time in the near future.
Riding in style, the crew hops aboard the private jet to Mexico. Frankie immediately asks Audrina what the deal is with Justin to which she responds that they're not together and he plans to hook up with other girls. Lauren, the only smart one these days (save for Whitney of course), suggests that they all leave their baggage back in LA so that they can enjoy the trip. Upon arrival Audrina learns that she and Justin have been paired up in a room together. But there is nooo way she's going to stay with him. Frankie, the ever present instigator, gives Justin the scoop on what Audrina said on the plane. PS, why does MTV keep labeling JB as "Audrina's boyfriend when he's clearly not? Anyway, Frankie decides to tell him that Audrina and Cory are bf/gf, also not entirely true, to which Doug comments, "All girls are shady." Hypocritical considering Doug was the epitome of shady a few episodes back.
Back in LA, Stephanie and Heidi are hanging out again. Steph confides that she has a new boyfriend. She tells Heidi that it's so nice to have him around while everyone is out of town. Heidi suggests they go on a double date, clearly doomed from the start, and although Stephanie is nervous she agrees. Heidi tries to make her feel better by saying, "Even if your family doesn’t like him that couldn’t change everything." Heidi is all too familiar with that scenario. Later on at dinner, Spencer and Heidi are left waiting for their company. Spencer starts to rip on his sister by commenting that "she's probably in the tanning salon" and how he's "interested to meet the guy who has the honor of dating my sister." They finally arrive and even though Cameron takes the blame for being late, Spencer continues his banter. He toasts Cameron as Stephanie's first boyfriend and embarrasses her. He then brags that he just kicked Holly out and calls her a moocher, all in front of Heidi who admits she had no say in the whole matter. Spencer even asks Cam if him and Brody talk and then brings up the fact that Stephanie and Doug "dated." The double date is a complete disaster.
In Cabo, Lauren and Audrina are surrounded by dudes. But not for long. After Frankie makes a "bromantic" toast to the birthday boy, Doug announces that he's invited some people over and on cue, a ton of chicks appear. "I think you have pretty good odds tonight" Lauren says to Brody. At the pool Audrina and Justin get into a bit of a tiff over the hair piece that Cory gave Audrina, which Justin has decided to steal. The next morning he still won't give it back. Justin is clearly just jealous and even admits that by saying, "You left me for another guy." Audrina tells him how it is and calls him out on being at a point where he does not want to be exclusive with anyone. If Justin so obviously likes her, why doesn't he just get over his player phase? "Whenever you're ready to grow up come and talk to me," Audrina says. Well played.
Stephanie decides to have a chat about the prior night with Spencer, who she finds at the famous "steps" working out. She's pissed that he brought up Doug but Spencer thinks she should just be appreciative that he even talked to Cameron, and even paid for dinner. He wants her to start being loyal and it looks like Stephanie will have to decide once again between her atrocious brother and her friend Lauren.
Audrina discusses Justin with Lauren and feels that he has no right to get mad at her. Lauren tells her that she needs to think about what makes her happy and that maybe cutting him out of her life is not only the best thing for them, but only fair to Cory. Even though they have mutual friends this seems like the best plan for Audrina to be able to live her life. "If you want a boyfriend you can't look to Justin because he's not going to give that to you" Lauren tells Audrina. It's time for her to start listening.
Should Audrina say good-bye to Justin Bobby forever?
