"Truth and Time Tells All" Season 3, Episode 3

Surprise. Spencer "I Used to Think Marriage Was the Dumbest Thing for Guys Who Couldn't Get laid" Pratt is engaged. He should act like it. If Heidi's the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with, he needs to start asking for her opinion and listening when she gives it to him. There was some serious relationship turmoil going on this week. Audrina is trying to decide whether or not to commit to Justin Bobby, Lauren's trying to give Justin Bobby the benefit of the doubt and like him despite his lack of respect for her, and Heidi and Spencer are trying to learn to talk to each other before making any decision, about their apartment and, very soon, about their lives. Let's focus on Audrina and Justin Bobby for a moment. I'm trying to determine what makes him so attractive to Audrina. He's not bad looking, he drives a motorcycle, and he seems to be into her. Oh yeah, and he's a bad boy. There is absolutely no denying that. He could care less about what Lauren thinks about him. (Note to boys - that's right, I said boys, not men - If you get your girl's friends to like you you're in. You can almost do no wrong.) Granted, you should also tell her she's special and make her feel loved, but I don't want to go too fast and freak anyone out here. He's got a way with words, though, at least as far as Audrina's concerned. You could practically see her melting when he said, "I take you for who you are and the person you are and the heart that you have." He's good. And now, over to the other dysfunctional couple. I'm sorry, but these two kind of crack me up. Even though they've been in a relationship for a year now, they are still very much functioning as individuals. Hello, talk to each other before making any major purchases or any home design choices. How hard is that? I have to admit I was a little mad at Spencer when Heidi got stuck painting over the graffiti alone. And then to find out Heidi's surprise to him was to paint over it. I kind of admire her for that. Spencer, however, was not pleased. In his words, "I surprise you with a beautiful mural. You surprise me with a boring white wall." First, that was graffiti, not a mural. So good for you, Heidi. You two are in this relationship together and you shouldn't let him get away with making decisions without you. Where things went down: Bolthouse: Heidi brings Elodie up to date on the whole engagement thing. I loved it when Elodie asked if she was preggers. I LOL'd. Bella: The scene of the infamous dinner where Lauren is "third-wheelin' it." In response to Lauren calling Audrina "precious cargo," Justin Bobby belches. OMG. So rude. Pinkberry: Our girls LC and Lo are catching up. Lauren thinks she's in a rut. I'll agree with that. She's got a roommate with the "sucky boyfriend" and she doesn't have too much going on in her own personal life. GITG. Charcoal: Audrina and Justin Bobby have their heart-to-heart and decide to "commit" to each other. GMWAS. Things to contemplate: - Is Justin Bobby good enough for Audrina? And whether or not you think he's good enough, do you think he's right for her? - Do you, like Heidi, think Spencer is her soul mate? Do you even think they'll get through this engagement to make it down the aisle? - Why can't Lauren meet a good guy? If you're jonesing for more Hills , check out our Online Video Guide. show less
