"Stress and the City" Season 3, Episode 12

I'm not sure I ever think of Frankie as the voice of reason but I'm glad he tries to talk some sense into Spencer. I don't necessarily think Brody's missing out on anything by being estranged from his ex-best friend but I think it important for those two to attempt a reconciliation. It's hard when you lose a best friend - as evidenced by what Lauren went through last year with Heidi. And where was Heidi tonight? She's usually causing some sort of drama - be it at work or at home. It was kind of nice to see a little less of her. I still like her more than I like Spencer though. He's acting like a spoiled little brat about Brody. I think it's juvenile that he made Brody pick between him and Lauren. He might be all "bros before hos" but I'm glad Brody didn't let his friendship with Spencer cloud his judgment about Lauren. Since when is it OK for your best friend - let alone any friend - to tell you who to hang out with? Even if Lauren is Spencer's "enemy" as he claims she is, is it more important to keep the feud going than to spend time with someone you consider your best friend? I've said it once and I'll say it again: Grow up, Spencer. Let me change the subject before I get really upset. Lisa was really impressed with Whitney's venue choice for the Teen Vogue party. I think that church is a great space and I'm glad the New York team is in agreement. I wasn't so sure they liked Whitney's presentation considering all the dramatic pauses and pained looks going on. I definitely have to give the MTV editors props on the way they edited tonight's episode. I was really on the edge of my seat hoping Whitney wouldn't get in trouble for screwing anything up. Don't get me wrong: I think she handled herself pretty well in that meeting. It's hard to speak confidently when you don't know all the details and I'm sure she doesn't. God, and what about Lauren? I can't believe they made her go to a model casting for Marc Jacobs without giving her any warning. Yeah, she got to meet him, but they really threw her in the deep end. It looks like she comported herself very well, too. And now all that's left is picking the menu, I think. What do you think about Spencer's attempt to reestablish a connection with Brody? Is it genuine? Do you really think he misses his friend? How do you think Whitney's presentation went? Did you like her dress? How about what Lauren was wearing? Want more of The Hills ?
