What do an old-school stoner, a '90s sitcom star, a YouTube celebrity and an Olympic athlete have in common? They're all competing on Season 19 of Dancing with the Stars.
Officially announced on Good Morning America Thursday, the new cast of ABC's long-running dancing competition will include Cheech & Chong's Tommy Chong, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum Alfonso Ribeiro, teen fashion expert Bethany Mota and track and field star Lolo Jones.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor James Avery has died, TMZ reports. He was 65.
Avery passed away at a Glendale, Calif., hospital while recovering from open heart surgery.
"The world has lost a truly special man. I am very saddened to say that James Avery has passed," Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Avery's son on the sitcom, posted on his Facebook. "Even though he played my father on TV, he was a wonderful father figure to me in life. He will be deeply missed."
Jeffrey Pollack, who directed Booty Call and was a producer on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, died on Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 54, and police believe he died of natural causes while exercising in Hermosa Beach, Calif.
