It's May Day (as in: mayday!) for the Russian spies — and just about everyone else — in the taut first-season finale of FX's emotionally engrossing The Americans (Wednesday, 10/9c). Chivalry is not dead, even in the estranged not-quite-marriage of embedded KGB operatives Philip and Elizabeth Jennings (Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell), as they prepare for a dangerous mission that could be a set-up, with lots of jockeying and posturing between husband (who wants to protect while serving) and wife (who's adamant about following orders to the letter) about who's going to risk everything, including their "normal" family life, to walk into what might be a trap.

Leah Remini is being sued by her former managers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday with the Los Angeles Superior Court, Remini's management company The Collective claims that they signed the actress to an oral contract in November 2011 and would then receive the standard 10 percent commission from her earnings. A month prior to the contract, Remini secured a talent holding deal at ABC, and while she and her managers allegedly agreed they wouldn't earn commission on that deal, they would be entitled to future earnings from any series that came out of it. Remini was soon cast on Family Tools, which premieres in May.

ABC has announced its midseason premiere dates, including those for the new series Red Widow, along with returning favorites Body of Proof and Dancing with the Stars.
When Body of Proof returns on Tuesday, Feb. 5, Emmy winner Dana Delany will be joined by Mark Valley as Det. Tommy Sullivan, a recent transfer to Philly who hopes to rekindle his relationship with Megan Hunt.
