"Wendy Wear" Wendy is bored with designing clothes for her dolls. She wants to dress real people! So her parents let her design new costumes for the servants. Nobody really likes them, but they can’t tell Wendy. She wants more. Mr. Cramp comes home in a ridiculous new ‘Wendy Wear’ sales suit. Meanwhile Wayne has an argument about cleaning up his room and runs away to Dirty Joe’s in protest. Lucien complains to Wendy that her Dad looks like a clown! But when Miss Hissy announces the introduction of the new school uniform, Lucien finds that he’s been given a real clown suit. Lucien goes to see Mr. Winkle, but he’s intimidated too. But when Wayne comes home Lucien realises that he’s the only person Wendy might listen to. And the special hunky school uniform she’s designed for him might just make him angry enough to say the right thing. "Homeless Joe" When Wayne learns that the junkyard is closing down, he tries to get Lucien to start a campaign to save it. Lucien just laughs at him, so Wayne tries a little campaign of his own without much success. Then at supper he asks his parents if they would take in a poor homeless orphan if they found one. Mr. Cramp says yes, only to learn that the orphan is Dirty Joe and he’s moving in. Wayne insists he asked permission and they agreed. Mrs. Cramp ends up wearing gas masks and protective clothing to cope with the smell of him. But Lucien, who has been wondering why animals don’t like him, discovers that when Joe’s smell rubs off on him, he can use it to attract a whole menagerie of swamp critters. But when Joe starts inviting his smelly friends round, Mr. and Mrs. Cramp decide enough is enough. Wayne says there’s only one way to get Dirty Joe to leave… and so Lucien is persuaded by his parents to campaign to save the junkyard. When the campaign is successful Dirty Joe leaves along with his strong smell, pursued by Lucien’s beloved menagerie.
