The doctor is in — and he's looking just like Cruz Castillo! That much-loved Emmy winner A Martinez of Santa Barbara fame is joining The Bold and the Beautiful for a guest stint starting February 9. His character, Dr. Ramon Montgomery, will be introduced as a close friend and personal physician to wily Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), who has a big mess on his hands. By the time Ramon hits the scene, sexypants Amber (Adrienne Frantz) will be claiming ...
Tonya Lee Williams
Fan fave Tonya Lee Williams is taking her much-missed The Young and the Restless character Olivia Winters over to The Bold and the Beautiful for a two-episode stint February 1-2. "I've only been waiting for this for 20 years!" says Williams. "So many of ...
Cancer survivor Kathryn Joosten is taking her real-life drama to a daytime soap. The veteran actress, a two-time Emmy winner as feisty Karen McCluskey on Desperate Housewives, will appear as herself on the 6000th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful (airing February 7). The show's matriarch Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) is currently battling lung cancer, which Joosten has kicked twice — in 2001 and 2009. The anniversary plot finds Stephanie going online to try to form a lung-cancer support group. Joosten decides to join up, as do several other real-life lung-cancer survivors who will also appear in the episode. TV Guide Magazine spoke with Joosten about her very Bold guest stint...
The folks at The Bold and the Beautiful have done an admirable — and Emmy worthy — job drawing attention to the homeless. And they're sticking to it. On December 22, cancer victim Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) will purchase the show's hipster hangout Insomnia Café and then, on Christmas Day, she'll hand the keys over to Dayzee (Kristolyn Lloyd), the Skid Row youth she befriended several weeks ago. The place will be renamed Dayzee's. What's more, two real-life residents of L.A.'s Union Rescue Mission shelter, Anthony Ortega and Leilani Zachary, have joined ...

Best Soap: The Bold and the Beautiful
How can one show be both gloriously uplifting and dirty as hell? That's the marvel of B&B! After back-to-back Emmy wins as best soap, this CBS serial should make it three in a row thanks to its daring lung-cancer plot involving big mama Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) who nearly chose death over life. Episodes with Stephanie visiting the homeless on L.A.'s Skid Row, and giving them a chance to tell their life stories, made for important and transcendent TV.
She's not just living a soap opera these days, she's also appearing on one. Big Brother 12 vixen Rachel Reilly just shot her fourth episode of The Bold and the Beautiful — airing January 24 — and it's proving to be a much-needed distraction from real-life events. Reilly recently became the innocent third party in a sex-Skyping scandal in which her man, Brendon Villegas, whom she met and fell in love with on Big Brother, sent photos of his naked genitals to a woman he met online. (In an apology video, Villegas claims he was being blackmailed).
He won't need to dig too deep to play this part. Former airline pilot turned reality star Jake Pavelka (The Bachelor, Dancing With the Stars) will guest star on The Bold and the Beautiful as the pilot of a private jet carrying Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Thomas Forrester (Adam Gregory) from Paris to L.A.
Pavelka, who previously played a reality show contestant on Drop Dead Diva, shoots the one-episode role...
Some things never change. And yahoo for that! Suds icon Andrea Evans is heading back to The Bold and the Beautiful after a 10-year absence to play Tawny, the trailer-trash gold-digger who spawned that royal pain Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz). As usual, Tawny will be looking for a hand-out and intends to hit up her kid, whom she thinks is doing well in the L.A. fashion biz. She has no idea Amber recently got canned.
In these days of crippling budget cuts, it's pretty damn remarkable that The Bold and the Beautiful went down to L.A.'s Skid Row and hired some 25 real-life homeless people to tell their life stories on camera. The sequences, airing October 28-29, are part of a plot that has Beverly Hills matron Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) battling stage 4 lung cancer and using what time she has left to help those who have nothing. The soap's exec producer-head writer Brad Bell, who has hired an additional 30 homeless to appear as extras, swears he won't be dropping this storyline anytime soon. In fact, it'll be an integral part of the show's holiday season. TV Guide Magazine spoke with the B&B boss man about his groundbreaking plot and where it goes from here. ...
Rachel and Brendon
She's back, bitches! Big Brother 12 firecracker Rachel Reilly, a Las Vegas cocktail waitress before she became a reality-TV villainess, has landed a recurring role on The Bold and the Beautiful. She'll play a waitress at the show's tropical hangout Bikini Beach, and be joined by her Big Brother beau Brendon Villegas, who will play a bartender. They first air October 25-26, then return November 18-19. TV Guide Magazine grilled the duo about their move from Big to Bold — and of course we had to ask about their showmance! Did it turn out to be the real thing?
