The Biggest Loser: Families Episode Recap: "Week 12" Season 6, Episode 14

The Biggest Loser: Families' penultimate episode was all about looking back. Besides the standard workouts and challenge, this week really focused on the trainers saying goodbye to their teams, and making sure they sent them off with the knowledge and confidence to continue in their progress at home. read more

The Biggest Loser: Families Episode Recap: "Week 11" Season 6, Episode 13

Tonight we got down to the final four. Wow this season has flown and there's been no shortage of drama on the installment pegged "those born to it versus those who were sworn to it." The beginning of the episode took a quick look back at how far our remaining contestants have come. Ed and Heba, who hope to have children, have come a long way. Heba came in as the heaviest woman and has lost 70 pounds. Her husband and teammate Ed has lost 82 pounds. Renee and Michelle, the mother and daughter duo who hadn't spoken in over 5 years, have also done well. Renee has lost 68 pounds while her daughter Michelle has lost 66. And then there's Vicky, our last solo player on the ranch. She's lost 68 pounds. read more

The Biggest Loser: Families Episode Recap: "Week 10" Season 6, Episode 12

We're getting closer to the finale and Black's chance at taking the prize seems dimmer each week. After a tearful goodbye to Coleen, Michelle and Renee are upset and frustrated. They feel, and so do I, that Amy made a huge mistake in sending her home. As Michelle said, she handed Vicky to them on a silver platter and now it may be too late to get her out. Jillian is also pretty sure that this is going to backfire on Amy but regardless, it's currently 4 vs. 2 and the numbers are not in team Black's favor. read more

The Biggest Loser: Families Episode Recap: "Week 9" Season 6, Episode 10

After last week's highly talked about episode (I've never seen so many comments!), I couldn't imagine this week to get any crazier. Well it did, only not in a talking smack about other players way (we're used to that by now), but in a 1980's themed way. That's right this week was all about shoulder pads, scrunchies and short shorts. So let's get to recapping. read more

Biggest Loser: Families Episode Recap: "Week 8" Season 6, Episode 9

What a week on the Biggest Loser: Families campus. We've never seen such drama and I've never despised a team more than I do the Blue team. After Philip's elimination, his fellow Black teammates were pretty bummed out. Talking about how much they loved him and what a great teammate he was didn't garner such a great reaction from Blue. Instead they pretty much laughed in their face. Vicky said it took them 7 weeks to get the "sleaze-bucket" out and that he was a horrible role model for America. Are they talking about the same Phil that I am? Bob nailed it when he called Vicky the biggest game player that has ever walked in that house. read more

The Biggest Loser: Families Episode Recap: "Week 7" Season 6, Episode 8

The toughest part of this season's Biggest Loser has been duos getting separated and then eliminated. Last week Amy P. was voted off of Blue, leaving her husband Phil feeling isolated on the ranch. He felt that the decision was based on him and felt bad that his wife probably couldn't have done anything to control the situation. And Phil wasn't the only sad one. Bob was heartbroken as well. Unsure of what kind of game his team was playing, he questioned Vicky and Brady about Brady's low number at the previous weigh-in. Vicky stuck to her word and claimed that she didn't know what happened but her little smirk at the end of her interview made me think otherwise.

The Biggest Loser: Families Episode Recap: "Week 6" Season 6, Episode 7

Upset about the loss of her mom, Amy C is feeling like a piece of her has left as well. Shellay was the one who pushed them to do Biggest Loser in the first place but now it's up to Amy to fight for the both of them. Over on the other team Jillian wants them to get more competitive. She asks Phil if he'd be okay sending his wife home because had black won last week, she would have gone. "Are you willing to be the pound that sends her home?" she asks him. Phil assures his trainer that if he wants to be the biggest loser than he needs to completely focus on himself and he plans on doing so even though it won't be easy. read more
