The Biggest Loser Episode Recap: Finale Season 8, Episode 13

After months of sweat and, of course, tears, the remaining Biggest Loser contestants will step on the scale for one final weigh-in. In tonight's two-hour live finale, either Amanda or Liz will join Danny and Rudy to compete for the $250,000 prize, while the rest of Season 8's competitors will reveal their transformations as the at-home winner is determined. So let's get to recapping!

After watching some clips of that first and dreadful mile run-walk from Week 1, Alison introduces the finale scale. Dun-dun-dun!

This past week, votes have been cast to decide if Amanda or Liz would be the third finalist to compete for the title. Out on stage first is Amanda, strutting her stuff as her old self is transposed next to her. Alison asks her how she feels in a dress, something she often avoided, and Amanda simply says, "I feel beautiful."

Liz comes out next looking wonderful in orange. After a short commercial break, Alison announces who America has chosen. And that person is... Amanda! It's only fitting that the woman America chose during Season 7 to compete this season, was also chosen by America to be the third finalist.

It's time for the at-home players to reveal their fitter selves and see who will take home $100,000. Here is everyone's stats after weighing in:

Alexandra
Starting weight: 309 pounds
Finale weight: 218 pounds
Total loss: 91 pounds, 29.45 percent

Antoine (looking adorable)

Finale weight: 215 pounds
Total loss: 152 pounds, 41.42 percent

Sean (whose wife just had a baby girl they named Jillian!)

Total loss: 155 pounds, 34.91 percent

Julio (barely recognizable and sporting interesting facial hair)

Finale weight: 227 pounds
Total loss: 180 pounds, 44.23 percent

Coach Mo
Starting weight: 355 pounds
Finale weight: 263 pounds
Total loss: 92 pounds, 25.92 percent

Dina
Starting weight: 253 pounds
Finale weight: 174 pounds

Tracey (Anyone think she looks too skinny?)

Finale weight: 132 pounds
Total loss: 118 pounds, 47.2 percent

Shea
Starting weight: 476 pounds
Finale weight: 304 pounds
Total loss: 172 pounds, 36.13 percent

Daniel

Total loss: 111 pounds, 35.58 percent

Rebecca (now a blonde and can we say, miniskirt?)
Starting weight: 279 pounds
Finale weight: 140 pounds
Total loss: 139 pounds, 49.82 percent

Allen
Starting weight: 325 pounds
Finale weight: 209 pounds
Total loss: 116 pounds, 35.69 percent

Liz
Starting weight: 267 pounds
Finale weight: 176 pounds
Total loss: 91 pounds, 34 percent

Rebecca, who we all know is now dating Daniel, wins the $100,000 at-home prize and is more than stoked. And look at those guns she's sporting.

Next, Alison calls Shea, the heaviest Biggest Loser contestant in history, up for a little surprise. Not only do the trainers invite her back to the Season 9 finale, but for every pound she loses by then, Subway will give her $1,000.

The tearjerker moment of the night: We have another Biggest Loser proposal! Antoine gets down on one knee and asks Alexandra to marry him. Tissue, please.

After learning about the new pound-for-pound challenge that Biggest Loser is doing to help provide for those facing hunger, Alison introduces Erin, who didn't get chosen during Season 7's finale to compete this time around. On her own at home, she's lost 70 pounds. Way to go!

On to the finalists. Rudy looks great and Danny is pretty unrecognizable. Because Danny left the ranch with the highest percentage of weight loss, he chooses the order that the final three will weigh in. So without further ado, Amanda, Rudy and then Danny step onto the scale.

Amanda
Starting weight: 250 pounds
Finale weight: 163 pounds
Total loss: 87 pounds, 34.8 percent

Rudy
Starting weight: 442 pounds
Finale weight: 208 pounds
Total loss: 234 pounds, 52.94 percent

Danny
Starting weight: 430 pounds
Finale weight: 191 pounds
Total loss: 239 pounds, 55.58 percent

Danny is the ultimate Biggest Loser!
