During part 2 of this week's Biggest Loser episode, the teams weighed in and hoped to stay above the yellow line. Which contestant pulled a zero and which team had to cut one of their own?
The episode picked up where we left off. Jillian had just kicked Amy out for laughing in her face. Jillian explained the situation to Bob who completely agreed with how she felt. Luckily Amy made the right move to come back into the gym and take it more seriously, and Jillian commended her for it.
Another member of Team Jillian that is struggling is Michelle. She's having a tough time being on the ranch with her mother who is essentially at the root of the cause of her weight gain. When Michelle's parents divorced, she started packing on the pounds and taking care of everyone else. Jillian tells her that she needs to live for herself in order to have healing and that she has the power to choose her own path. How did Jillian become so wise?
After the last chance workout it's time for the weigh-ins. It's already been one month on campus and Bob and Jillian are anxious to see how their teams are doing. Like the previous week there would only be one team to fall below the yellow line with one subsequent team member leaving. Unfortunately for Colleen, she only had her own percentage to keep her in the game. Here's how the numbers fell:
Colleen, Yellow, lost 3 pounds for a total loss of 1.54%
Michelle and Renee, Pink, lost 4 & 5 for a total loss of 1.95%
Amy and Shellay, Purple, lost 5 & 4 for a total loss of 2.1%
Amy and Phil, Red, lost 5 & 3, for a total loss of 1.62%
Ed and Heba, Orange, lost 0 & 8, for a total loss of 1.4%
Brady and Vicky, Brown, lost 9 & 3 for a total loss of 2.3%
So after all were weighed, Orange, who ironically kicked butt on the challenges last week, were the lowest team. After an emotional deliberation, Ed and Heba decided it would be best for Ed to go. Since Heba did so well she deserved to stay and Ed vowed to keep his progress up at home. The goodbye speech was quite sweet as Ed told his wife that he had never truly lived before he met her and that he knows she'll have the willpower to keep going without him. And I was happy to see that in the at-home update Ed looks pretty darn good. He's lost 85 pounds to date and doesn't seem to be slowing down.
What did you all think of the two-parter? Anyone else ready for some drama amongst teams?
