Episode 13 Recap Season 4, Episode 13

And then there were five! Who would have thought 13 weeks ago when the season began and all those people who weren't picked for the Blue or Red teams would end up holding the majority in the end. With Bryan's exit last week and Nicole's this week, Neil is the only non-Black team member left and it's pretty obvious he'll be the next to go if he falls below the yellow line. Luckily for Neil he's a weight-losing machine and will probably be ok next week. But I'm really sick of his "I know I'm a threat and I'm not scared of anyone of you" speech he gives every week in the elimination room. I read through all your comments and agree that there aren't really any players left to root for. In past seasons there have always been a few left in the end that you wanted to see succeed and to win the game and we were reminded of all those people tonight in the transformations segments coming back from commercial breaks. (Yay Suzie!) I think at this point Bill is my favorite to win, or maybe Isabeau. It's still such a shame that we lost such great contestants early in the game (Jerry and Phil) and that Kae had to leave a couple weeks ago. I can't wait to see how all the booted off contestants look at the finale! So on to tonight's episode, it was a great idea to have the contestants wake up early to squeeze in a work out before work, and learning how to pack snacks and lunches (Thank you, Ziploc!) That was such torture for them to work at a pizzeria but impressive none of them tried to sneak a slice in. In fact, the place they were at (Stone Fire Pizza) is actually around the corner from my apartment and their pizza is damn good, so nice work to the contestants. The boxing bag/trampoline challenge looked hard! I was feeling exhausted just watching them. But compared to last week's hanging on a pole challenge I was glad they were actually doing something to help them in their weight loss. That was probably the most interesting part of the episode, I have to admit I fast-forwarded through a lot of the recap montages of how far the remaining contestants have come this season since we see it week after week after week. The good news is next week's episode is only one hour, but I'm guessing they'll drag out the finale into two-hours. My guess: Neil, Bill, Isabeau and Hollie will be the remaining four to duke it out for the grand prize. Until next week, check out Biggest Loser clips at our Online Video Guide. show less

Premise: Popular reality fare about overweight people competing to drop pounds. Divided initially into teams, the contestants are aided (and bullied) by trainers and must participate in physical reward challenges. At the end of each episode, there's a weigh-in that helps determine who is sent packing.
