Top Moments: Alec and Dave Drop Their Pants and Ann Curry Is Here Today

Alec Baldwin and David Letterman

Our top moments of the week:

14. Worst Icing on the Cake: On Part 1 of the season finale of The Real Housewives of Orange County, new housewife Heather Dubrow throws a name party for herself to celebrate taking her husband's last name. We're still not sure exactly why the cake at said party so greatly symbolizes her name change, but Heather gets her frosted pink bow in a big twist when Alexis Bellino's friend, Sarah, eats a part of the bow before the cake is cut. Sarah apologizes, then calls Heather fake and pretentious before Heather hands her an Oreo cookie to satisfy her sugar craving.  Who knew a cake with so much frosting could leave such a sour taste.... read more

The Bachelorette's Chris Harrison: Ryan's Elimination Was a Big Hurdle for Emily

Ryan and Emily

After enduring weeks of cocky comments, The Bachelorette's Emily finally let Ryan go — but not without him putting up a fight.

"It was a big hurdle for her to realize it wasn't right with Ryan," host Chris Harrison tells TVGuide.com. "She's very attracted to him, and a part of her wanted to say yes, but she has too many good guys here."

In our weekly chat, Harrison talks about Ryan's "weird" exit, why they allowed Emily an extra rose and how next week's episode handles Arie's past relationship with a producer. Plus: How is the new Bachelor Pad cast doing? read more

The Bachelorette Episode Recap: Week 6

Emily and her men have arrived in Croatia for the next step of their Bachelorette journey, and Travis is the lucky man who gets the week's first one-on-one.

First up, he and Emily explore the town, hand-in-hand. They wind up at the "balancing stone" where if you can stay up on the rock, you'll be lucky in love. After a few failed tries, Travis hangs on. Good sign for things to come? At dinner, Travis tells Emily about his broken engagement and that no one did anything wrong, but it just wasn't right. He also admits he hasn't dated in the two years since. After a seemingly great dinner, Emily says, "From Day 1 you've been someone who's brought light to every situation...but I don't know if we have that romance." She lets Travis go (I'm actually surprised), and he is heartbroken.

Mad Men

Our top moments of the week:

12. Fishiest Proposal: When Tamra Barney takes a surprise vacation to Bora Bora with her boyfriend, Eddie, on The Real Housewives of Orange County, she suspects that he's going to propose marriage. She doesn't tell the other ladies about her trip, just in case she's wrong. But she isn't. Despite her suspicions, Eddie still manages to shock her when he places the engagement ring in a clam shell and then instructs her to open it. She gasps, covers her eyes, cries and, duh, says yes.

11. Best Bright Side: When GLAAD taps Sonja Morgan to present an award on The Real Housewives of New York City, she apparently forgets to ask one... read more

Game of Thrones

Our top moments of the week:

13. Most Fitting Introduction: Anyone who might have been worried that the three new cast members of Real Housewives of New York City wouldn't fit in can officially stop. At a dinner party at Ramona Singer's Hamptons home, Ramona tells Heather Thomson bluntly that she has a bad habit of interrupting people. "I felt the same way about you, so clearly, maybe we're trying to get a word in edgewise together because we have a lot to say," Heather replies, not missing a passive-aggressive beat. Ugh -- talking incessantly about talking incessantly? Thank God for... read more
