The Bachelorette Episode Recap: Week 5 Season 7, Episode 5

On this week's episode of The Bachelorette, Ashley and the remaining men travel to Chiang Mai, Thailand where there's a solo date, a group date, and this season's first two-on-one date. And while Ashley is getting closer with some of the men, her mind is still focused on a certain someone who's gone.

The group arrives to their private villa in Chiang Mai and finding out that Ben F. will get this week's one-on-one date. It's no surprise after he won Ashley over during last week's group date. The two head out and get close while sitting outside a temple, but refrain from having their first kiss when Ashley tells him they're in a religious area where it's not allowed. The two decide they'll mentally kiss instead, but Ashley, meanwhile, says she just wants to jump him.

The dinner portion of the date is outside where they're surrounded by thousands of candles and flowers. Talk about a romantic setting. Ben opens up about his father's death and says that he was an "emotional zombie" until recently. After receiving the rose, the couple finally shares their first kiss.

Constantine (who I'm convinced is Ben F.'s twin), Ames, Nick, Blake, Lucas, Ryan, J.P. and Mickey are chosen for the group date where they'll be participating in Thai boxing. After training shirtless, they each get a uniform and Ames, the one guy who's never fought before, ends up in pink. As the guys are paired up and duel in the ring, things get intense. Punches are thrown and Ashley cringes as she watches the men fight. Poor Ames gets the brunt of it during his match against Ryan and although he says he's OK, Ashley insists he go to the hospital.

That evening, Ashley shares drinks with the guys who are all pretty wiped from the day's events. Ames shows up late, but dapper as always, and admits he's still pretty out of it. Blake, meanwhile, opens up to Ashley during his alone time and his talk about love being a marathon and not a sprint earns him the rose for the night.

William and Ben C. are the unlucky fellas on the two-on-one date. They begin with a boat ride down the river and wind up at a picnic. Right away, William throws Ben under the bus during their alone time and by telling Ashley that Ben is ready to go home and excited about the women that await him. Ashley almost immediately says she wants to end the two-on-one portion of the date and tells Ben C. it's time to say goodbye. It's hard to believe she didn't even give him a chance to explain himself and Ben is pretty hurt that.

At dinner, William hopes to get back to where he and Ashley once were (Ashley says they had the best first date ever), but as soon as he talks about wanting to be silly and not grow up, Ashley is turned off. She tells him that the spark isn't still there and lets him loose. During William's exit interview he says he feels like a loser. "I'm the world's biggest f---in' jackass," he says. Aww.

At the cocktail party, Ashley isn't feeling like herself because she's still thinking about Bentley. She speaks to Chris about wanting to close the Bentley chapter and he asks her what she wants to do. "The only way I can be 100 percent in it with these guys is if I release myself from what's holding me back," she says. Ashley also tells Chris she'd be fine with learning that Bentley left because he wasn't interested, but because he left her with a "dot dot dot," she's still wondering. Regardless, she's ready to hand out the night's roses.

Ashley gives roses to Constantine, Lucas, J.P., Ames, Mickey and Ryan. Nick is leaving. Next week they're heading to Hong Kong where, you guessed it, Bentley finally returns.

Which guy is your pick for Ashley?
