The Bachelor Episode Recap: Week 7 Season 15, Episode 7

On this week's special Valentine's Day episode of The Bachelor, Brad and the six remaining women visit Anguilla, where they partake in a steamy Sports Illustrated swimsuit photo shoot. Four win roses, while one girl is asked to leave during the date. Plus: Brad cancels the cocktail party.

Emily gets the first one-on-one and the pair takes a helicopter ride to a private island. Brad admits he's a bit tense around her and Emily says she's scared about letting her guard down. "I care for you so much. Would you allow me to meet Ricky?" he asks in regards to next week's hometown dates. Emily says that she's overprotective of her daughter and has never introduced her to anyone she's dated. Although he doesn't get an answer to his question, Brad breaks the rules and tells her, "We're going to your hometown period and I want to see where this goes." Even though he didn't have a rose he could give out, he guaranteed Emily is safe.

The next date goes to Shawntel and they stroll through a farmer's market before drinking wine on the lawn. She says she's falling in love with him and Brad talks about how comfortable he is talking to her about his dad — a touchy subject. They seal the date with a kiss.

Britt finally gets her first one-on-one. After days (or is it weeks?) of curiosity over Britt, Brad finally realizes there's just no chemistry. "I think enough of you to tell you I don't see a future," he says, also pointing out that during his last turn as the Bachelor, he got crucified for stringing people along and refuses to do the same now. Even though there's no rose on the date, he tells her she should pack up her bags and go. To make matters worse, Britt has to return to the hotel and explain to the women that she's leaving.

Brad wakes up the remaining women, Ashley H, Chantal and Michelle, for their group date. It's early morning when they learn they'll be doing a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated. It doesn't take long for the photographer to suggest how great the shot would look topless, so Ashley lets it all hang out with seashells covering her, um, seashells. Chantal follows suit and although Michelle says she'd never do it, she then invites Brad into her shot and the two proceed to have a steamy make-out session on the sand. Michelle gets a little aggressive, but Brad admits he got caught up in the moment. It's safe to say the rest of the date is tense. Speaking to each woman alone, he first tells Ashley that his feelings for her haven't worn away. He says he's happy that Chantal is in love with him, but she says she's feeling distant. He tells Michelle that he has an uncanny knack of saying anything he feels around her, but he also sees a volatile woman.

The group date has a rose, and Brad gives it to Ashley. Chantal then cries and tells Brad, "If you can't choose me out of three girls, just send me home." They somewhat work through it and end the conversation with a hug.

Brad decides to cancel the cocktail party and Chris asks him if he's sure about his decision to do so. The roses are handed out and Emily, Shawntel and Chantal receive them, with Michelle (finally) being sent home. She is not happy to say the least and barely speaks to him during her exit.

Are you happy to see Michelle leave? Are you excited for the hometown dates?

Premise: True love (or a TV facsimile thereof) gets the reality treatment in this long-running dating game, in which a successful bachelor romances a number of beauties. The list of possible paramours is reduced each week until he gives a final red rose to one of them. The series spun off 'The Bachelorette', a spate of rip-offs and very few lasting pairings.
