Barney visits Mayberry and ends up escorting a former girlfriend (Diahn Williams), who is now a Hollywood starlet, to a movie premiere. This is the second of two January 1967 episodes Don Knotts appeared in. He won an Emmy for his performance, which was the fifth time he carried home the award for his Barney Fife role.
