Season 5, Episode 32 Banjo-Playing Deputy
Andy hires an out-of-work banjo player (Jerry Van Dyke) as a part-time deputy, but he proves too incompetent to even fill Barney's shoes. Lee Van Cleef appears in a minor role. His appearance came a year before his big splash in “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.” This episode ended the series' fifth season and was the last one shot in black and white. Dancer: Sylvia Lewis.
